They are trying to allow for Web3,. Polygon is a decentralized scaling platform that allows users and developers to build apps in a lot easier way then normal, with really low transaction fees. Pretty much jus a company trying to make Apps easier, and more accessable to everyone. On top of the low transaction fees, you dont need to worry about security, because it has really good security, and ur not sacrificing fees for security, its all the same.

My overall opinion is that they are a good company trying to make dApps more accesible, they are very reliable as they have worked with big companies like instagram
