circle was created in 2013 they are blockchain focused on financial services it was originally a consumer facing p2p payment and cryptocurrency exchange wallet. since launching they've shifted to more commercial blockchain and crypto applications. up until 2016 they operated as a bitcoin wallet but later on they swayed away from that. they are planning the conversion rate to the u.s. dollar they have also expanded there services to china and the uk. in 2018 they purchased poloniex crypto currency exchange for 400 million dollars

i kind of like this company i kind of dont i liked when they were having bitcoin wallets and crypto currency exchange wallets but as stated in the summary they started to sway away from that and became more of a commercial blockchain never the less they seem like a well known well trusted blockchain
